[Account] Quickly switch between saved Accounts

I just ask to be able to use several different accounts from the same device.

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

 

We're happy to announce that the option to switch between accounts is being implemented. We'll start with Android mobile devices and tablets. Remember this is slowly being rolled out for everyone, so if you don't see it now, just make sure to keep your app up to date.

At the moment, we don’t have any info to share about when this will be available for iOS users. Rest assured that any news will be posted here.

With more and more devices (like the Amazon Echos) only working from a phone when the same account is logged to the device and the app, quickly switching between different accounts on the phone would be really useful.

Currently only one person can use the spotify app to set music on the speaker. Having a dedicated account for the speaker and a quick account switch in the app would make it much more useful.

It is crucial this feature is implemented in the AppleTV app as soon as possible. These devices are usually shared by family members  who listen to different music. It’s not even a matter of family, you should have the option to log into your profile, log out and login into an other one without having to pair each time. Do it ASAP Spotify! Thanks.

This would be incredibly useful for switching between a "home" and "personal" account on a mobile device and a great enhancement to the Spotify user experience.

Oh, come on, Spotify! This idea is over 6 years old (the original idea is linked here and was posted in Sep. 2013). Yet you are doing nothing. Do you honestly like the idea? Then please implement the user switching feature. Right now you are just stalling us. 😞

Maybe in 7 years we’ll get this feature to make the app actually useful for families. Instant delete for this app. 🙄

I agree! This feature should be implemented to also help every parents for not ruin their 'suggested for you' songs! Not every parents want's to listen to Frozen when they finally have some time off! Discover Weekly and similiar things doesn't work properly. It would be a huge benefit for every parent out there!

I’d like to switch between my account and my kid’s account. It’s irritating that one of my daily mixes is Disney songs.
