Add support for Android TV

Android TV is Google's latest take on Android for the TV and is released with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The first device running Android TV is Google's own device Nexus Player.

The good thing with Android TV is that it runs regular Android apps with some modifications and it also has built in support for Google Cast.

You guys made a Fully Featred app for Amazon Fire TV but why not for Android TV ????????

Android TV will become the defacto OS for television and you guys are skipping it just like you skipped Chromecast at first.

Device like Nvidia SHIELD Android TV desers a fully functional Spotify app.

So, please make an app for Android TV devices.

I can't believe there's still no Android TV app. It's not a big cost to develop one, while it makes our live so much easier. Currently I need to conect Android 5 tablet to my hi-fi in order to listen spotify music LOL.

Having app for Android would allow me to run the music directly from TV.

I've read at the Spotify-chromecast supportwebsite, that Spotify is devolping with Google the support for other Google Cast devices (like Android TV or Speakers)...

It appears that Spotify is listening and at least interested in how many people want a Spotify app for Android TV. Or at least their social media team is... I was just referred to this page by Spotify on Twitter, to show my support for Android TV compatibility.

Yes, Spotify, I would definitely use and enjoy an Android TV version!

There must be thousands of people that whants Spotify on Android TV, so come on and show that to Spotify. Give kudos!

May I know how Philips Android TV and Bbox Miami TV got Spotify Apps ?? They both run Google's Android TV platform, so why only they got the app ??

If true that is amazing, why not release that to the public Androin user? Or do the units have Spotify Connect built in?
