[Android] Android Widget

Having a home screen widget for Android would be really nice. All other media players have one on Android so it'd be great to see that in Spotify too. It'd make things so much easier to just be able control to Spotify from your home screen instead of swiping down for the notification bar or opening the app. It's really simple functionality so please can you add it.

There was literally NO reason to remove the widget, and it would take no time to reintroduce since it was already there just add it back. It's not that hard.

This is not a "new idea" this was a removed feature. We are paying customers, and deserve to have the features that we've been paying for. 

If this isn't fixed in the next month, you can add another to your growing list of cancelled subscriptions.

The Spotify widget is the ONLY widget I care about.

I've never been so glad to have a rubbish phone with no space for updates.  Still got the widget!   However, it has gone from my older phone, which I sometimes use for playing music - very rubbish!  Other people I know are also annoyed. 

Please bring back the widget!

I am currently unsubscribed for financial reasons (a young child with huge nursery fees), but the lack of widget will make me seriously consider subscribing to a different music platform when money improves!

Little do they know that Spotify just gave them the middle finger and told them to sit on it and rotate.

So Spotify how do you like giving the middle finger to all your investors since you gave the middle finger to all us customers. Bet you love losing BILLIONS! Enjoy the sell-off of your crappy stock for your crappy decisions.

I just don't get what was the point in removing it? It was already there, and then it was removed. What's the benefit for anyone?
