[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

4 years since this idea first came to light. At least in this community. It had to have been in the heads of Spotify Android Developers since day one. I hope it doesn't take another year to build this into the product.

This is a basic function. It should not be a 'good idea' IT SHOULD BE FIXED. To be so lazy and disrespectuful to your customers is vile. I moved to android from IOS for convenience and to be slapped with such a stupid thing as not being able to rearrange a playlist is so annoying. Spotify is my main source of music and to get used to such a simple function on iPhone and then not have it on Android is ridiculous and appalling.

I fully agree with this idea. How is it that Tidal has this feature and I love it and the largest streaming app does not?

This is basic, it should have been on from release. 

It annoys me everyday, specially when you try and search for a particular song on a particular playlist, and the song does not play from the playlist, instead it plays from the serach results.

Impossible (or very, very fidly) to find a song.

What up Spotify team + devs? Long time Spotify Premium user here. I feel like I'm a Spotify power user - in the course of a day, I'm often using your desktop app, Android Mobile app, and Web app on my Chromebook.

Your desktop app is superb, but I often find your mobile and web apps lacking. Your Android app is probably the one I use the most, but I find it to be lacking for one main reason: you can't rearrange songs. I don't understand how this feature hasn't been implemented yet. I can rearrange songs in a queue on Android, but if I want to make changes to a playlist of my own on the go, I can't do that. It's gotten to the point where I actively get excited about an app update, hoping that after each update, the ability to do this will be there, and every time I've been let down.

I know it's seemingly low on your list of things to do, and I commend you for all the work you've done to get the Android app to where it is today. But please, move this ahead in the list of things to do. It's something that shouldve been done for Android users a long time ago. Thank you!
