[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Did anyone else spend countless hours trying to find out how to move your
songs? And numerous days googling it? And numerous emails to Spotify asking
for help? I wonder how much money they loose on Android users. I wonder how
many hours Android users loose trying to figure this out.

I think this is an excellent idea!

I am on Android and would like to know how to re-order songs in my playlists on mobile?

Looks like I can do this on the web, desktop and have a friend with an iPhone who can do this on their phone. Can't seem to find it on the Spotify App for Android? Can you help me?

Totally agree!  They really don't care. Some underlying reason we don't know about for sure.

It can't be hard to implement a simple drag and drop. That's 2008 technology.

Response from support@spotify.com  I will respond kindly to this rep as she seems sincere and the fact that this feature has not been implememented for the Android App, is not supports fault. It is Spotify's Android Product Design Management, and Development's issue to fix! I will simply respond back and ask if 92 pages, 2,491 votes starting in 2014 is enough to get Spotify's attention?

Thanks for writing back to us. It would be great to organize your songs right?
No worries, it's possible to re-arrange the songs on your playlists! But, here's the catch: you can only do this on the desktop app and on iPhones. So, to reorder your track listing, just click and hold a song to move it up or down. That's it! Tip: For another way to reorganise track listings, check out how to Sort and filter.
On a side note, it looks like other Spotify customers also requests for this feature to rearrange songs on Android. You can add your voice to it by giving it a like! 
Be sure to keep an eye on the status of the idea too, ideas that reach 100 votes are reviewed by the Community team on a monthly basis, and are then passed onto the right folks here at Spotify. 
Previous examples of implemented ideas include Chromecast support, the Xbox app, and the return of the Wrapped campaign.
Note: The Community is currently only available in English.
