[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

I'm wondering why I would pay for spotify if I can't arrange my songs on playlists from the only device I use - my phone.

This has been a top feature request for THREE YEARS!

Spotify chimes in and says, yeah, good idea, but not in our pipeline? Basically just said, sorry paying customers, we could care less what you want. If it has not gotten done in three years, and it's not in their current pipeline, then they have zero intentions of ever doing it!

Are you kidding me Spotify? Even I can go ahead and update the app in the matter of hours to include this feature with my limited programming knowledge. Seems like people are being lazy.

This is the only reason I became a Premium member. It doesn't make sense to continue if I am unable to place the songs in a specific order on my phone. I have enjoyed using Spotify.  Please put this in your pipeline and get'er done!

This is a basic and simple feature that a music app should have.  I just don't understand why you can do it with Apple devices and not on android!! Some kind of discrimination here?? WTH!!!

I tweeted Daniel Ek, CEO and founder of Spotify. Maybe if we all tweet him... LOL! Recommend we all ask respectfully and professionally. More gets done with honey than vinegar.

He probably does not monitor the account, but it will get some attention just the same.

Best idea so far, we already tweeted the support team, sent emails to
helpdesk, also attended conferences with staff members, made videos
explaining what's wrong and also made software to fix it and of course
posted countless messages here...

This is far more effective, probably one of the few guys who can really
understand what's happening and do something about it 🙂

Hey everyone, we're back to give this idea its annual update. We're keeping this at 'Good Idea' because we truly do like this idea. However please know that this isn't in our current pipeline so you won't be seeing it any time soon.
