[Android] Rearrange Tracks inside a Playlist

On my iPod I can manually move my songs around that are in my playlist, but I can't do the same on my phone which is what I mostly use. It would be easier to have that option on all devices.

Ok. I had Amazon prime and used their music app and I could rearrange my playlist seemlessly. I moved to spotify thinking this was the better route and now I'm super disappointed to see this isn't here. It should be a standard thing. Please do this. Jesus...

Autumnwitch -  I am trying out Amazon for 30 days.  Good service, Android App is pretty slick and like you said, rearranging songs on a play list is easy.  Obviously can't do so on an Amazon's curated list.  Has some cool features like lyrics, etc.  We can't even get Spotify to step up on rearrange songs a BASIC featuer.  If it were not for Spotify Connect, the speed of the service, desktop app and integration of Spotify into WAZE navigation app, I would be so gone a long time ago.  I can still get my tracks, play lists organized into folders etc with the desktop app. Ideal? NO WAY!  Spotify won't give Android users rearrange tracks on play lists for some totally bizarre reason. Some suspect a deal with the fruit company who has this feature.  Really no good reason, especially when one can already rearrange tracks in a play que!!   Then there is explicit music. Spotify tags explicit music, yet won't allow the user to filter??? That's one that has been going on for over four years!  Want to sell more family plans Spotify? Get it sorted out.  But you will hear responses like, "We hear ya." "Hey don't get discouraged..." or my all time favorite, "Get more votes in the Spotify Community!"  Guess 73 pages of comments and thousands of votes are just not enough! <END RANT>

There is a app called STAMP that allows you to transfer all your music and playlists to Amazon's music service. I'm about to say goodbye to Spotify and I'm not even looking back.

Sweet - only 4 years later and no progress! Exciting! Clearly the Android and Chrome OS teams exist, right?

adambriehl I think they exist.  See their profiles on LinkedIn Spotify Android team.  If you can connect with one and message them?  Also, they push out a new beta release just about everyday! What's new? No clue.  No notes on the releases. Sure isn't rearrange songs though!  Groggster - yes STAMP will transfer your music from Spotify to Amazon; however just comes over as songs not in play lists. All my music is play lists (cap on albums in Spotify) but not play lists. Whatever.  I have my play lists in folders by genre.  So moving across all that organization is lost! Kind of a pain. I like Amazon, but no equalizer at the moment which makes it not sound as good. Can rearrange songs on a play list! Hmmm, that must be some futuristic feature or NEW IDEA right?
