[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

Thanks for listening!

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

We're happy to announce that this feature is now rolling out on Android devices. If you don't see it yet, don't worry as it will be available for you soon. Just make sure to keep your app up to date.

Once again, thanks for helping us make Spotify better, by participating here on the Community.

It's February 2019 and this issue still hasn't been resloved. Android customers are a huge part of your customer base because many of us are not Apple people. We don't want to use Apple music. You are a better option anyway, but creating app feautes to with bias to spcific devices is pretty messed up. Especially considering the fact you're missing a sizeable part if your community. Please revisit this idea. It would make life as an Android user much more enjoyable than it already is. Thanks!

It's insane you have not inplemented this feature yet. It' like you're taking a s*** on all android users. If it is something hard to implement, just tell us. Otherwise just implement it, because it's such a useful feature. Even though there's not a huge load of people letting you know, there are many that would use it and find it very helpful. Please implement this

Hello Spotify,

Now you've finally publically taken a stance against Apple, it would be great if this 'idea' - which we can only fathom is something Apple is blocking you to implement on Android, is FINALLY brought to Android...

I switched over from iOS to Android a few months ago and am still extremely frustrated that a feature I used more than daily is unavailable for me unless I take a few extra steps...

prettyplease?

Its been almost 5 years. It's not that hard to implement so please cant y'all just implement this. Especially now that you have announced that you are against Apple.

Please add this feature!!! It makes it so easy when I'm with friends or just listening to music for myself and I want to add stuff to play next! Swiping to add to the que is so much easier than hitting the three dots to then **bleep** something!

Android users: Can we have the same things on the android app as the iOS app?

Spotify: Sure... we'll think about it 😒

*never ends up doing it*

Also Spotify: APPLE PLAY FAIR 😭😭😭😭😭

Hypocrites.

clemenslucas

In light of recent events:

Spotify files anti-trust lawsuits against Apple, but they still prioritize the iPhone app, because they can enjoy their quasi monopoly on Android.

the hypocrisy.

Guys I will literally implement this for you it would be SO SIMPLE, clearly your user base wants it so just do it or LET ME.

How is this even possible to neglect the way you do  it got 1500+ votes and you say it's "Not at the moment"-worthy? When I told my apple friends that this feature isn't even implemented on Android they got chocked. At least make the f**king (...) next to the track larger and more "less prone to clicking wrong" .

Just so people know, you can hold down on the song to bring up the menu as well, but the fact that it's taking so long to implement such a simple feature that should already be part of the app is just disgusting. Like wth, there is literally no logical reason why this should be in iOS and not Android. Especially seeing as it's the more popular OS.  PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR @@ SPOTIFY AND GIVE A SH!T FOR ONCE!
