[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

been a spotify (premium!) user for 7 years, now switching from ios to android (pixel 4) in the next days.

if this (and swipe down playing now) won't be implemented in 2020 i'll quit my membership, even apple music is better on android than spotify lol and i never considered apple music after trying it on the iphone. i'm serious about this, if i can switch from ios to android, quitting spotify isn't much of a deal.

Where is the aim of providing a great experience for users when you are practising some sort of product discrimination? Maybe we should start paying less for half baked products!

This is ridiculous. I've been a premium user for a very long time and recently switched from iPhone to Android. I had no idea the app was missing this before switching, because it seemed like common sense for both versions to have such a basic feature. If you're not going to implement it despite literal thousands of people asking, at LEAST give us a good reason why, other than just "not right now :)". I'm still adjusting to the switch but I will be heavily considering switching services now.

Absolutely stupid that this feature is still overlooked despite being one of the most commonly asked for features that are already on apple. I will be cancelling my subscription if this feature isnt added in soon. Makes absolutely no sense and is just lazy development.

Please please PLEASE add this swipe feature on Android. You have no idea how useful this is whenever I'm out for a run and quickly want to add a song to queue or in literally any other situation. It seems like such a simple but integral feature that the Android app should have had for years now, and there is no reason it shouldn't. But still after all these years, it has yet to be added. Everytime this app has an update I open it up in hopes of being able to swipe to queue, but to my disappointment and nobody's surprise it's never there which is ridiculous. Please add this feature for Android.

I think for swiping it should be better for setting the song to favourite and for swiping left it should be add to quene

Just make the Android app more like the iOS app. Pretty simple.

I'm a former iOS user and I'm shocked to see that this has not been implemented even though this is a feature so simple. And the way Spotify responds to this and puts it to "Not right now" category makes me think of this is deliberate.

I don't understand why this is not a thing on Android. And I don't buy that it would be too difficult to code for the many versions of Android. 

Other apps (like pocketcast) do it, and Spotify is a $20 billion company
