[Android] Swipe to Queue a Track

Firstly let me say I have been using Spotify since it launched here in the US and have seen a lot of great improvements over the years. Great job!

I am a music listener who likes to let the current track play out before starting a new one.
I love what you have done on the iOS side with swipe to queue.

Can you show Android some love and put this story in your backlog? 🙂

I hate instantly playing a song by accident because i'm trying to queue it. Please add this feature! ❤️

Wasn't this a feature recently until the latest update? Why can't I do it anymore??? Do I really need to cancel my subscription and place Spotify back to 1 star rating? Because I'm **bleep**ing salty about this.

 

And l haven't owned an iPhone since the 4 so I can't be imagining it!

I've had Spotify since 2013 and have had iOS since long before then. I've recently made the jump to Android only to discover my favorite feature -- swipe to queue -- is unavailable on this platform. Just unbelievable. Neglected for 3+ years, from the looks of it. Luckily I'm already on my friends' Google play music family account, so this is the perfect excuse to leave Spotify behind, as swipe to queue was honestly the biggest thing keeping me from leaving. See ya, Spotify. After 5 years of loyalty I'm out. Way to neglect a massive chunk of your userbase. Responding in kind.

Can you guys at Spotify just do it already. I've used ios and Android back and forth and I have to say ios is just much nicer. It would make a huge difference if swipe would queue a song. Do you know how much work it is to click and hold each song and then press que. It is long and boring and no one has time for it. Please just add swipe to android this thread is like 3 years old and still nothing

it's a very simple one to implement yet will make using Spotify much more pleasant and a seamless experience.

Are we still having to wait for this feature to be added to android. I discovered you could do this on iPhone about a year ago and thought it was a great idea and thought it was recently added but found out it's been like that 2 years already but now it's almost been 3 years and still nothing that's just sad.
