Clear play queue

I have to restart my spotify when I accendently start a song from a search instead of adding it to the queue (happens often to me), would be lovely if there would be a clear button for all the songs added to the queue by spotify it self.

Why not make the "clear play queue" option more user-friendly for the mobile app and have a button or link to press, just like on the desktop version? I have premium and enjoy listening to it on my phone daily, so this change would be FANTASTIC!

How does the queue work while listening to a playlist? If I try to play a particular song by filtering my playlist, the queue is replaced with the songs that match the filter, hence it gets significantly reduced.

This happens only on Mobile, for Desktop works just fine.

There is no clear queue on the iPad app... I think queue control is not very intuitive. Spotify could learn from, say, the Google music app. For example, when I tap the first song of an album Spotify starts playing the album. When I want to add another album to the end of that 'queue', there is no way to do it. It just starts playing the next album. I can imagine that sometimes this is what you want, but not all of the time. Also, when I add an album to the queue when nothing is playing, there is no way to start that new queue. All functionality that is present in Play and Apple Music.

Although this request is marked as implemented, I cannot seem to find it on Android.

Please add a "Clear Queue" button to the Queue page.

It's tedious to start an empty playlist or single song, or whatever workaround some users recommend, just to perform such a simple task.

Very nice for the desktop users, but what about the iPhone users ?

It would be usefull to also have on top of the "Add to queue" a "Replace queue", which would allow to clear the current and add the selected items (either songs or playlists) to the queue.

The lack of this stupid and simple feature really is pushing me to leave spotify.

On my Windows machine, I'd often like Spotify to stop after current track, but am annoyed by how inconvenient it is.

If I go to the "Play Queue" and hit CTRL+A to select all, there is no "Remove from Queue" option. I have to click top or bottom song, hold SHIFT, once again remind myself that Spotify doesn't accept the functionality of SHIFT+CTRL+HOME or END so scroll like a good boy to the other end of the list... and now I'm presented the option to "Remove from queue" everything, while also letting the current track play.

And if it isn't obvious, there is no "Clear" button on Windows machine, despite the supposed implementation status.
