Customization of playlists (cover and description box)

Hello, Spotify Community! 

One of the things I enjoy about Spotify, is that I get to share music I enjoy, with people all around the world. But how great would it be if it was possible to customize your playlists, to make it your very own. And it doesn't necessary need a lot of advanced or fancy stuff, just your picture of choice for the cover (instead of 4 album covers from your tracklist) and a description box, would be enough to make it kind of original (and make it easier for people to know what kind of music the playlist will include/what it's made for etc.).

I'm seeing a few people saying they've recently got this ability; seems that Spotify may have rolled it out to a few more users. I don't think everyone has it yet, though; there'd be a big announcement if this was implemented system-wide.

That's a great question, @user-removed. Maybe @Sanik007 can shed some light on it.

I feel like now that we know that it should be coming to us soon..ish, the Spotify team should create some sort of beta testers program where people who want to try new features can opt-in. I think this will help everyone out because those who want the features will get them, instead of a random selection of people who may not appreciate or use them. And because the beta testers who chose to test the features would be more willing to send feedback and actively participate in the beta instead of ignoring it

You can now do this on Spotify for Windows.

Right click the playlist and click edit.

From here you can upload your own playlist picture, and change the description ☺

I've had this ability for over a month now, so it should be fully rolled out by now
