Landscape orientation on Android

I use my iphone in my car for navigation and music. I prefer for my phone to be mounted in landscape orientation for navigation purposes, but the spotify app is hard to use when it is sideways.  constantly changing the orientation is inconvenient.  Could spotify implement a landscape orientation? even if it lacks some of the less important features.

This has either happened due to indifference or incompetence.  I'm cancelling premium and heading to a different platform. If Spotify ever gets their butts off the couch and fixes this, then I might come back.  Till then, see ya!

I just downloaded the Android app and am on the free premium period. Not rotating in the car-dock is really annoying. I'll likely be letting the premium expire and check back when they get around to implementing this.

I agree.  This is a fundamental feature every mobile app should have.  Honestly, it's bordering on unacceptable.  This should be one of the features they are working on before tweaking others.

I am a paying customer and I use spotify in the car and I always have my mobile in a vertical position fixed to the front window and it takes to much attention away from the driving because it is almost impossible to find a song. And that's just because Spotify does not provide standard app functions. That's the first thing that should be programmed. It is the only app on my mobile that doesn't have that feature.

So how likely is it that you provide us the landscape orientation with the next update?
