Normal window behavior

Spoty ignores standard windows window behaviour and this makes it one of the few progrrams i use that just dont seem to want to work along with the standard.

if i drag the spotify to the top of the screen it should maximize like any normal application does.

if i drag a maximized spotify away from the top of the screen it should shrink down to the old size and alow for being dragged around.

windows key + left or right should resize the screen to half the screen and put it in the correct spot,

windows key + up should maximize spotify.

its all standard windows 7 behaviour and should be supported (when you work with 2 monitors like me its very handy if programs just behave correctly)

We're happy to announce that we've implemented this with the latest version of Spotify. Desktop version 0.9.6. is currently in the process of rolling out so be on the lookout for the update. Thanks everyone and keep the ideas coming!

I'm very frustrated at this issue, knowing that it has been brought to Spotify developer's attention long time ago makes it even more aggravating. So bump.

As a programmer, I know that this functionality is by default enabled on all windows 7 applications which are correctly written.

Obviously, your implementation for Windows is not correctly written, and you've gone out of their way to incorrectly use Win32 API's.

It's not that hard to actually write an application which conforms to Win32 standards. You have to do something completely wrong in your implementation to break it this bad.

You don't have to enable it or un-disable it, it's just there, and you managed to break it.

Go in to your low level wrapper of OS specific window handling for Windows.

I know you're afraid of Win32 and all it's craziness.

But get your act together and fix this, as a fellow desktop application developer, I just pity you and feel embarrased that you can manage to break such a simple functionality.

Furthermore, Spotify has plenty of cash to hire a proper Windows Desktop Application Developer. They still exist, and the one's who still exist are really good at their job because they've been doing it for so long.

Just please, you're ruining my Spotify/Windows experience, and it's completely unbelievable for something this trivial to be so broken.

This is so incredible frustrating, please fix this!

Come on Spotify! This is an annoying bug, not a design choice! Fix it please!

still waiting Spotify...

Come on, this is not 1999 any more. There is no excuse today to not support the most basic UI paradigms of a platform (especially windows) in 2013. This is just bad style and something you would expect from a 14 year olds "my first skinned window" application, not a big name like Spotify.

Get your stuff together, this is embarassing!

I remember when Spotify briefly adopted these features on a beta version years ago, what happened? Would love to see this back, rather annoying that it sticks out from the rest of all my apps in this regard.

Definitely needs to be added, I'm working on 3 monitors, always switching up my windows to improve productivity and having to resize spotify manually is just such a hassle!

Please add this, it would abnsolutely change my everyday life as I'm constantly listening to music.
