[Partnerships] Apple TV Support

I think there should be a Spotify feature for the Apple TV, similar to the Netflix App which is available. As currently, the only way Spotify can be played on the Apple TV is through AirPlay which requires an iPod Touch/iPhone.

Hey,

 

With our new Spotify app for Apple TV, you can now access Spotify’s 50 million tracks directly from your TV, making Spotify the natural audio destination across your many devices.

 

This long-requested feature follows our other apps on TV platforms including Android TV, Samsung Tizen, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

 

We’re excited to bring this app to Apple TV and will continue to innovate and enhance the app—there’s plenty more in the works.

Agreed. After all this time we have progressed from simply being ignored to ‘officially’ being ignored.

What a shame that the customer base is asking for the app and the developer is basically saying “no”.

Too many other choices for us to make, Spotify is getting sued for $1.5 Billion in piracy and also trying to get an IPO going. I don’t think this will end well for Spotify...

Maybe a good Social media campaign is what is needed to convince Spotify to develop what customers are asking for?

Why complaining that Apple is taken adventures is customers when with their own music app, when you don’t makes app for all platforms like Apple TV. One of the reason people choose Apple Music is because Spotify ignore platform people use like Apple TV and Apple Watch. So please publish an app for all platsforms and Mae new customers. Thank you in advance.

Please make it happen, AirPlay is bad working with Apple tv and when there is A Apple tv app, everyone is happy

Given Apple TV can be used as a Apple Home Hub...you really need a Spotify app for it.  I can manage my lights, lock etc. now....but still need another device for Spotify.  Makes me reconsider the value of Spotify over iTunes...

Since the new update for the spotify app for Mac doesn´t work airplay on appletv 3 and an 2017 Macbook. Perfect, another issue to delete the spotify premium. Why it comes nothing for Apple Users? Applewatch, AppleTV?! The Mac App is **bleep** too, no Settings are save when you close the software... Thumbs up! The Applemusic Abo looked never nicer.
