[Partnerships] Apple TV Support

I think there should be a Spotify feature for the Apple TV, similar to the Netflix App which is available. As currently, the only way Spotify can be played on the Apple TV is through AirPlay which requires an iPod Touch/iPhone.

Hey,

 

With our new Spotify app for Apple TV, you can now access Spotify’s 50 million tracks directly from your TV, making Spotify the natural audio destination across your many devices.

 

This long-requested feature follows our other apps on TV platforms including Android TV, Samsung Tizen, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

 

We’re excited to bring this app to Apple TV and will continue to innovate and enhance the app—there’s plenty more in the works.

Hahahha staff.... totally useless comment... we know you (our customers) want it but hey, we’re not in the mood right now. Check again here next year, but usually we don’t do anything...oh man that’s so #$%+&@

I can’t believe there still isn’t an Apple TV app. 

 

Airplay sucks. 

Spotify connect is better.

But I still need my Apple TV more.

Its unbelievable that a company like spotify hasn't converted his app to tv-os..
especially because samsung, philips and other tv's already have native apps

Yes and after the update, it’s the only way to hear the music about the iPhone and airplay. With Mac and airplay is it impossible now too. For me a big selling point!

spotify needs an apple tv app. it’s dumb to not have it. airplay is not convenient. just do it. please.
