Picture on Profile

I would like to suugest the option of adding our own pictures or avitars WITHOUT linking it to our Facebook accounts.

I know there are some of us that were fortunate enough to get Spotify before it linked with Facebook and I would love to add my picture on the account page.

Just adding my name to the mix of people who'd like to be able to upload a profile pic without having an active Facebook account. I deactivated my facebook. So, my profile picture is gone and I have the grey avatar. It'd be cool to have the ability to update my profile pic without having to have a FB account. It is a factor that keeps me from paying premium if I won't have full functionality of spotify, due to not having FB. I was a premium customer for a few months, and considered coming back since I liked streaming spotify on my phone...

yes please do this facebook sucks and tying your app to anothers just for a picture is just silliness, to put it mildly... very mildly.

It would be very nice if spotify continues to be a place where you can be private, not like facebook when you can see everything about a person. But still I would love the opportunity to choose your own profile picture without linkin it with **bleep**book!

I just got spotify the other day and noticed that I couldn't add a profile picture without facebook.. so I'm all for this. I don't want to get my spotify involved with facebook. 😕

Why do I need a dubious free social network to spice up my account on a service I pay for? It's not just silly, it's an insult. 😉 Love Spotify, don't have Facebook. HELP!

That Spotify users are unable to post/modify profile pictures w/o Facebook account is more than an inconvenience. We should assume that there is a financial agreement between Facebook and Spotify regarding information sharing and advertising. If a user agrees to link accounts, The mutual(FB-Spotify) financial gain should be shared with Spotify Premium users in the form of reduced monthly/annual fees. Spotify's behavior demonstrates a disregard/dismissal of paying customers.

Seriously, this is BASIC. Like, 1997 basic. Get it together, Spotify! Not all of us want all of our online accounts CONNECTED to each other.

Hear, hear. Calling this a "suggested feature"and not a "problem" is quibbling, innit. No one wants to see that silly silhouette, and making folks go through FB to get a pic up there is weak, in my view.
