Picture on Profile

I would like to suugest the option of adding our own pictures or avitars WITHOUT linking it to our Facebook accounts.

I know there are some of us that were fortunate enough to get Spotify before it linked with Facebook and I would love to add my picture on the account page.

Bonjour, Je suis un utilisateur récent de Spotify et ayant fortement été déçu par Deezer, je m'en suis désinscrit pour toujours. J'ai donc découvert qu'une fonction aussi basic que de modifier l'image d'un profile n' existe pas, personnellement, je me dit que si un jour je me décide à payer 10€ par mois, il faudra vraiment que je soit satisfait complètement par un système irréprochable. Je suis également un réfractaire irréductible de tous ces réseaux sociaux et tout particulièrement à FB. Quand je vois comment tourne nos sociétés, cela ne m'engage pas non plus à m'inscrire à Tweeter. Il est parfaitement inadmissible de nous imposer ces sites internet que ce soit sur les téléphone mobile ou les logiciels sur ordinateur. Il est temps de nous redonner la LIBERTE et notre libre arbitre.

i'm not a programmer but it's clear to anyone with common sense how incredibly simple it would be to add this feature. i can only assume spotify refuses to do it because it interferes with some sort of agreement they have with facebook, which is pathetic. if you're going to take people's money every month, you owe it to them to provide rudimentary features like this.

I refuse to use Facebook. Locking something as simple as a profile picture to a third-party solution is stupid.

I don't want a pic of myself from FB as my image... would much rather have something music related... this should have been in from the beginning....

I nuked my facebook account because I absolutely loathe that website, I am not making a new one just to be able to use an avatar on my Spotify. +1 kudos to this idea from me, I hope we can get this shifted from "Not Right Now" to "Done" soon.

I would like this also. I'm on quite a few other social networks but recently decided to eliminate Facebook.  I know Spotify probably has contractual obligations under their agreement with Facebook but hopefully this isn't one of them.

Yes please, I'm a Spotify fan of the pre-FB integration era and would like to have a customisable picture and social features just not via Facebook.
