Im considering subscribing to the premium service at the moment and being able to control spotify on my desktop pc (used as stereo system) from my mobile (iphone) is a feature ive been looking for, but built into the software. in a format like pepp-elito has suggested sound like it would be very easy to use.

Not sure if already said, but anyway;

Say you had Spotify open on your desktop, when using on your phone, could have the option when pressing play (or a new song / playlist) to play on another device.

Or one step further, a menu item that has a list of 'active' devices that you could even sync playing music between them (and choose the active sound out device, if that makes sense)?

Remoteless is for sale in the App store for NZD4.99. I don't want to spend more money in addition to my Spotify Premium fee. 😞

I hope Spotify has the remote functionality in their App soon! 🙂

There is already one feature toward this direction implemented:

Whenever one starts to play a song at one device the other stops. It would be great, if changes in volume on one device affected the volume of the other devices. Going further, there could be a full syncronization implemented between all devices of a single user. That would be great.

Hi, I really want this feature. It would be extremely helpful. What is the status on this? Are you working on it, or just "considering"? Can we expect anything relatively soon?
