[Web Player] Bring back the old Web Player

The minimalism of the web player makes it near unusable (self.spotify)

Here is a list of basic stuff that got removed:

• See the radio
• See the queue
• See the song length
• see how far in the song you are

Here is stuff that got destroyed in terms of functionality.

• adding a song to a playlist is now a lot more difficult and requires moving a lot more bc it opens up a HUGE window instead of the little menu

• The volume slider is not live, its drag and drop so you can't hear the effect of the volume change in real time

Everything is HUGE and they just seem to love all the dead space and tell me pretty much nothing about whats going on.

It's atrocious. I've used it for about 10 minutes and I already despise it with a burning passion. These things I mentioned are just the ones that are just immediately obvious because I USE THEM FREQUENTLY

All humor aside, this feels like a substantial downgrade and  makes me curious to check other options.

It doesn't seem to store my "radio" stations that I've followed based on artist/song/album etc.  And for that matter I can no longer shuffle songs at all on either the radio/artist/album.  I pay and utilize multiple platforms of spotify premium.  Why take away all the functions from the web player!?

I totally agree - the new web player GUI is really frustrating and since I use Spotify at work a lot, this *really* sucks, since I am not allowed to install the local player.

The new GUI removes too many helpful things such as column what has been stared in a playlist. (I always listened to the new releases on Friday and my weekly mixes on Monday, then starred what I liked and after verifying I really like the suggested songs by listening to them again, I added them to my central playlist.)

This **bleep**ty minimalistic web player really makes me consider alternatives, since that was the way I used Spotify the majority.

The new layout is bulky and unintuitive, artists are no longer in aplhabetical order, album length isnt shown anymore. This new update has also stopped last.fm scrobbling, it scrobbled one album and everything after went unscrobbled

WOW! WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST COUPLE DAYS TO THE SEARCH FUNCTION?

IT IS NOW BASICALLY GARBAGE. WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR AN ARTIST YOU ONLY WANT THAT ARTIST, NOT EVERY BOOLEAN POSSIBLITY.

YOU WANT THE ALBUMS WITH SONGS TO SHOW UP, NOT JUST A COUPLE THAT YOU DON'T WANT.

I HEARD SPOTIFY WAS THINKING OF GOING PUBLIC AND I WAS SAYING THAT MIGHT NOT BE A BAD INVESTMENT BUT AFTER THIS COMPLETE FUNGLEBUCK, I WOULDN'T TOUCH IT.

C'MON GUYS, SOMETIMES THINGS ARE RIGHT. WE DON'T NEED YOU MUCKING IT UP JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE CAUGHT IN A TRAP WITH THE REMAINDER OF THE TECH BOZOS.

SO FOR THE NEW FORMAT I GIVE IT A RESOUNDING F GRADE.

AS A RADIO SHOW HOST IT WILL NOW BE WORTHLESS.

Hello Spotify,

With this new update I can't find all the music I have saved, I have all my playlists but not all my music.

On the artist list I can't find all the artists that I have saved, also when I click on an artist it goes to their page/profile, not to the music I have saved. I also can't find all the albums I have saved but I can see the songs I have saved from them.

Also, I really lied how the artists were in alphabetical order, with this new update its not in that order.

It's so absolutely frustrating. I have a chromebook so when I use spotify on my laptop I HAVE to use the browser. Browser has always sucked (music stopping randomly, loading problems etc) but like this new browser is almost unuseable. I've come to the point where I just connect my phone to my speakers rather than my laptop. I didn't upgrade to premium for this.

I agree. I like sorting by artist, not album, but my Artists library is empty now. This is a straight downgrade. What a shame.
