Hey everyone,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

Тhis has been one of our most upvoted ideas and we've known it's something that our users would really like to see come true.
We're happy to announce that this feature will now become available for the Apple Watch Series 3 or later.

It will be gradually rolled out, so it might take a bit until everybody has access to it.  That being said, we'd like to let you know that the roll-out rate has increased a lot in the last weeks, so if you haven't received the feature in the past, try reinstalling the app on your watch again and there's a big chance you'll get Offline listening now.

Once again, thanks for helping us make Spotify better and voting to make this happen, here on the Community.

If anyone else here is happy to have their shiny new offline playback, but saddened to find there’s a 50-track limit on playlist downloads, please add a like and comment to this idea: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Idea-Submissions/Remove-Apple-Watch-50-Song-Limit/idc-p/5231204#M13...

Dear Spotify. Thank you for listening to your customers and community and delivering this feature.

I finally have it today and after all I stand strong to all comments I made over the years.

Please accept the following feedback. Overall I believe the journey would have been more pleasant if you change your communication policy and methods.

That being said I am sure you will have additional requests however now something is out you can build on a solid foundation.

Sweden here.

I just got the feature enabled this morning! 😁

Downloading playlists is not faster than Apple Music, so don't expect to have anything if you plan on going for a run in half an hour.

Partially downloaded playlists can't be played. At least it's not made obvious. I wonder what will happen if a playlist updates. At least I don't have to deal with Apple Music's ghastly interface anymore!

Which country are you in please?
Gioac_01

Here is enabled from yesterday 07 July.

Italy.

The limit of 50 songs is still a bit too few in my opinion, but at least is now there.

Status changed to: Implemented

So... 50% is considered "Implemented". I wonder if they would accept 50% of their subscription fee as "full payment" then...

Why are they _still_ thoroughly ignoring the "streaming via cellular" part of this....

krispy4

Am I able to download local songs on the watch?

This should not be marked as solved!!! Offline listening was important to some but for me most important feature is streaming!!!  It's been few years now and still nothing- shame on you Spotify. Oh well I'm staying with Apple music.

Streaming is implemended for months now? Even offline downloads have been rolled out to the market.
