There is another post I did on this issue, where you “vote” for the idea. I was told after so many votes, they may do something. I don’t know my way around this forum, or I would be able to explain WHERE that is. Let’s get it done!

Well...3 years have passed. Could you please think about this feature? It's kind of disappointing that music application does not have it...

It’s very easy. Simply use Youtube music. That supports split screen. Job done!

I have a very good reason to want split screen.  

When I learn to play new music I want to follow along with a score.  The music on one side, spotify on the other side or in a small bar at the side.  Not having this ability makes Spotify hugely inferior for those of us who do more than just listen.  

I’m certain there are many people, from beginners to professionals, who listen while learning new material.  We’re not a tiny sub-market, we’re a pretty big group.  

Honestly, this is enough to make me cancel my family membership and try other stuff.  I’m not willing to pay for multiple music services.  Everyone in my family is a musician!

I am seriously thinking of switching to another service too. Someone told me if there are so many votes for this, they may change it...I don’t know if this post is the way/place.

So who knows how to copy playlists, so I can set up the same playlists when I switch to iTunes!?

So called Spotify support is pathetically poor in even recognising this as a useful feature. I’ve discovered that there are over 300 votes for this feature but still Spotify fail to acknowledge its popularity or even provide a simple yes or no as to its implementation.

Despite its warm encouraging words Spotify is definitely NOT prepared to listen.

I can only conclude that for reasons they refuse to divulge, this feature is deprecated.

I too am considering my options.

The whole Spotify support mechanism is flawed.

For some reason Spotify management have decided not to introduce split screen support.
