[iOS] Split Screen Support

It would be awesome if spotify could support the IOS 9 Multitask Split-Screen feature ...!!!

We're marking this as implemented, as multiple iOS devices now support Split View.

Fingers crossed they implement it. I wouldn't hold my breath. They haven't even done it on Android. It's annoying, I know but Spotify just doesn't seem to actually listen.

Yes. They give every impression of listening but when put to the test they fall down big time.

Its all talk and no action.

I’ve just received the new 12.9” iPad Pro and I want this feature more than ever. It just doesn’t make sense for Spotify not to be able to support it given how big the screen on this thing is, you could easily dedicate half or even a quarter of the screen to Spotify while doing other tasks.

We need this. No need for Spotify to occupy the whole screen on a 12.9.

Can’t believe this still is not a priority for Spotify. Ridiculous that they don’t support this as a music app.  I hate giving bad reviews to a service I love, but the iPad app gets 1 star until these features are added

I switched back to spotify from apple and was severely dissapointed that apple music had this and spotify did not.  There is now an IOS 10, can you please add this support!!!

we pay 2000 $ for the ipad pro, spotify premium membership every month for nothing! everybody come to apple music! this now can't wait! if this one come and the volume return the same at other service, I come back to spotify!

Dear Spotify,

 

It would be really nice if you could update the Spotify app for splitscreen support after the feature was introduced 3.5 years ago. I practically live on my iPad and I am a music curator and ambient artist, so I am constantly switching between apps. Having the option to use Spotify on one side and Facebook, Mail or Twitter on the other side would help tremendously in my workflow and greatly increase ease of use of your app.
