Add "remove video content" option to Spotify Family

Please add an option to "remove video content" to Spotify Family! Since video podcasts were added, my children now watch videos on Spotify instead of listening to music.  I had given them unlimited access to Spotify (unlike other apps) because it was only used for music.

All you'd have to do is add another toggle for "remove video content" next to "Remove explicit content".

Spotify Kids is not an option for us.  My children are teens and tweens.  And because they're teens and tweens, they have a very difficult time turning off compelling video content (just like some adults).  If Spotify becomes just another screen to stare at, I'm not sure we want to keep our Family membership.

Yeah. I just switched us to Pandora, which has no video content!

I'm canceling Spotify Family Premium (which I now called Pornify) and heading over to Pandora Premium.  No video!  And my kids are not constantly being bombarded with Explicity icons and video.  It's better over there folks.  Spotify hates kids and parents I guess.

Searching for any song on the homepage and letting autoplay take over will automatically play the music videos. This is an unwanted behavior for many people, including myself, as the audio in the music videos is often different and of lower quality than the audio version, as well as wasting data. An audio-only toggle button for the entire app would be desirable. Right now, you can switch to the audio version of a song, but the next song will play in video mode.

I HATE this with my life. I just want to listen music NOT watch the video, especially when I'm studying or trying to sleep, it's so stressful to have to switch to audio bc I DONT want the video. If I want to watch the musical clip I go to YouTube NOT Spotify. Thinking about change to another music service and cancel my subscription

We just found out that our minor son has secretly been watching tick toc videos that were copied to podcasts in the spotify app. I would like to de-activate all content except non-explicit audio content in the spotify app, but there is no option to do so.

Further, there are sexually explicit podcasts being recommended to kids, even though I de-activated explicit content for the kids accounts.

The spotify kids app is not an option, because the content selection is insufficient.

Please add more filtering options to the spotify app and stop recommending sexual content to kids.

I’m glad you discovered this, many parents don’t, through no fault of their own. The Family plan is a huge safeguarding risk but Spotify are continuing to ignore parents and prioritising profits.

Unfortunately, I agree. As they make the "Investors" access available.
What's really fascinating if you can decipher stocks, etc, is the insane
amount of money they've made, and if you get to the veeeery end, you'll see
a little blurb about how they plan to implement a "Spotify Video" facet of
the app... So are they going to in turn, FORCE you to pay for that
subscription, in order to simply "turn it off" ???? If that happens, they
can p*ss up a rope as far as I'm concerned. I've been using Spotify since
the beginning, but have only recently started using the forums.

This is ridiculous that the ONLY concern, is
"Liquidity" "capital" etc etc. Sickening.
I bet if it were THEIR children, whom if they care, probably don't even
ALLOW them to have Spotify, much like the top brass at Apple, Google Etc
whom have been known on many occasion, to say they curb, and or do not
allow the tech THEY sell....

C'mon Spotify Brass, per YOUR WORDS from the stockholder meetings...

"Let's be ahead of the curve, not behind it"

C'mon parents, I know you're tired of this battle, and it's been long, lets make some NOOOOOOIIIIIIIISSSSSEEEEE!!!!!!💥💥💥

After +10 years Spotify user I hat to switch to Tidal family plan, because of my son watching podcasts. Actually we don‘t like it and would return immediately, if podcasts and videos could be disabled for specific family members.
