Add "remove video content" option to Spotify Family

Please add an option to "remove video content" to Spotify Family! Since video podcasts were added, my children now watch videos on Spotify instead of listening to music.  I had given them unlimited access to Spotify (unlike other apps) because it was only used for music.

All you'd have to do is add another toggle for "remove video content" next to "Remove explicit content".

Spotify Kids is not an option for us.  My children are teens and tweens.  And because they're teens and tweens, they have a very difficult time turning off compelling video content (just like some adults).  If Spotify becomes just another screen to stare at, I'm not sure we want to keep our Family membership.

This is my personal killer feature deciding about If I proceed using Spotify Family or not.

I do not mind if you add videos, but having a family account the video podcasts are a game changer in the negative way.
Please give us the option to deactivate videos and video podcasts for kids.
So far we had a well working agreement about using the mobile phone separating music/audio books from the "internet" time (aka videos and games).
With the video podcasts this is history. So either you give us a tool to stop the kids watching videos in Spotify - or we must put a hard time limit on Spotify.
If you check out the community thread this is a big topic for many families.

Seeing all this replies from families with all the same problem I am a bit stunned that here no response or statement from Spotify product team is available. I asked the moderator who merged my idea to ask Spotify management for an official update.
To be serious it could not be so hard to say: We understood your issue and working on a solution to come in the next 3 month - in the end that is relevant to most family accounts with kids below 14 years. Simply do your math, that is probably half of all legal family accounts (not counting family accounts misused by friends).

Beyond Parents, the absence of video is the reason why my app blockers do not block Spotify, and do block any other media app. Now I get these video suggestions on the home page since a couple of weeks. Absolutely hate it, with a passion

I'm not a parent, but I find the constant visual content (like Instagram stories) on my homepage extermely irritating.

Please provide an option for a serene interface.

Best solution I've figured out so far is turn on "Data saver" option. You'll be streaming on a lower resolution when on 4G, but at least you get rid of the visuals (both on 4G and on wifi!).

What a shame that I can not just turn off all video content on Spotify with a simple toggle. Not only are the TikTok videos the issue here; my 7-year-old loves listening to music, but with these videos and everything, it is becoming another Youtube(distraction) for here. Instead, listen to videos in the background while drawing. And dear god, videos are very punchy, hypnotizing. JUST add a darn button to toggle off videos all together for gods sake.
