[Ads] Ads Filter

I know we can't pick and choose what ads to see, but at least for a teensy bit of decency (especially for people listening to spotify in a professional work environment) can we not have half naked Victoria's Secret super sexy models?

Personally, I could care less about ads. And in fact, I am a woman who shops at Victoria's Secret. Still- I just had an awkward moment with some coworkers AND my boss. I'd like very much for that not to happen again. In the very least, how about an image that isn't half the size of the window?

I know no one's going to agree, and believe me, I'd be the last person to complain about spotify (it's awesome). But seriously, it's a bit much.

Thanks.

I've recently had the experience of hearing the same ad for a horror film repeatedly throughout my podcast listening. It seems the only way to avoid this would be to turn off explicit content, but... the episode I'm listening to isn't even explicit. It would be great to be able to report ads the way you can on many other digital content platforms. My only option was to report the episode itself, which contains no explicit content and is totally unrelated content. Just because I'm listening to apotify at night does not mean that I'm up for horror films.

Please stop these horror podcast ads. It's always comes out in the middle of the night

I have young children. I don't want them to hear gambling ads on Spotify.

Poor form spotify.

This should be your top one commitment. I don't want my kids to hear about gambling when I play Spotify.

Yes, all the nonstop sports gambling junk needs to go away. Same with ads like BetterMan movie—ads that change your volume to be twice as loud compared to what you set the volume to.

My ears and neighbors would greatly appreciate it. Cheap exploitation volume gimmick.

Currently, about 80% of the ads I am getting are ads for Chlorox Scentiva where the voiceover is whispering in my ear with horrible snappy mouth sounds like an abomination of an ASMR video. No matter how many times I hit the dislike button and select that I find the content unpleasant, nearly every ad I get is one of these monsters. I am normally a very calm and in control person, but I do suffer (like many people) from misophonia, so the quality of the sounds in these ads agitates me to the point of blind rage. Every time one comes on, my skin starts crawling and adrenaline courses through my veins like I am about to get hit by a car. I immediately hit the dislike button EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Please, for the love of god, let me listen to music without being assaulted by this evil.

Can you please create a feature to opt out of advertising that relates to gambling and alcohol use? Addiction is a serious health issue and we shouldn’t have to tolerate these ads while listening to music. Other major social networks have implemented this

Hello!

While listening to my Spotify Ap today I was subjected to possibly the worst ad campaign I've encountered in a long while.  No advertiser/sponsor should be allowed to purchase three consecutive ad slots and play the same ad three times in a row.  Yes, this is effective in making sure listeners hear the ad and even react because you wonder if something is wrong with your ap when it keeps repeating.  However, after listening for several hours and hearing this ad more times than I can count- I finally closed the ap and went elsewhere.  I would be interested to see how many other users left the ap completely because of this sequence from Spectrum.
