In such a highly customizeable world, where are the themes for spotify? My google chrome is wood theme and my text messaging app is an 19th century journal. Could spotify match? I think so.

hi guys.. really please.. i cannot look at black color since i am IT admin many years from when CRT monitor destroyed my eyes so please... make it for us.. clear white with black letters as it was time before on the paper :)) we will appreciate it .. thank you

If not full theming, at least make standard light and dark themes that can be changed according to system preferences, as all modern apps do...

I would be happy to just have an option to have a different background color than black! My desktop backgroud in most cases is a photo in the middle of a black background and having Spotify also black just makes it uncomfortable to use when in minimized mode. 
Really surprised there isn´t more options to choose from :S

Hi guys, I asked myself the same question but apparently in 2022 it is still not possible to change theme in Spotify. In this regard, I leave you here an open source third party software to do this, if anyone is interested https://github.com/khanhas/spicetify-cli

Greetings to the members of Spotify community !!

It is just a thought/idea if there were aesthetic themes/modes on Spotify where users can decide which colour/theme they want to keep in their Spotify Dashboard. 

People when they want to change the theme of their Spotify then they use different extensions or applications which might be a bit confusing when one has
to add those themes. Users would always like if Spotify Application offered them themes/modes like the dark mode.

For Example, User 123 is fed up of having the same dark mode and wants to change
his/her theme to something comfortable and aesthetic. He could simply go to the appearance settings -> themes -> Choose any theme provided by the app 

(The best part is that the themes would not only be colour but could be something  related to general activities) 
 
The best thing is that The themes provided by the Spotify app could be only for the free users and Premium users can make their own custom themes. 

Spotify should also have two phases for this idea - 
1. Testing this on Desktop Applications 
2. Testing them on Android/iOS devices. 

Getting themes on Spotify might be a way to increase users and making custom themes for Spotify might get more premium users !!

I think I’d be a good idea if we could customize the color of the “like playlist”. Don’t get me wrong, I like the purple color, but I think it’d be moline to have the option to change it to different colors, and I think it’d be cool to even control the shading of each color. An example is pasted below.

I think there should be a way to put a customizable background or at least customizable themes on the computer app. The background and scroll bars are currently both varying shades of black and it's too easy to lose track of where the scroll bars are.

I have always wanted some Spotify theme options and I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened yet. This seems like a thing everyone learned how to do years ago. Now they went and made the ugliest looking thing I've seen yet and I can't even change it.
