[Android] Landscape mode on Now Playing view

When using my phone in the car I put it in a car holder. The holder is horizontal in order to have better view for navigation etc. I use spotify also a lot in the car but when using the playing music I'm not able to rotate the screen but the playlists dose rotate

My Question or Issue

Hello, I want to use my phone as a remote for my desktop spotify player, the problem is spotify wont change into landscape mode while opening "Now Playing" tab. Landscape mode works find for home view and searching titles, but as soon as I clicked into "Now Playing" it will revert back to portrait. The funny thing is Spotify Lite is fine with the landscape mode, but it lacks the remote feature. I already did restart the phone and did a clean install of spotify, but nothing works. Thanks!

Get Spotify in lanscape mode .

On gym machines they recharge your phone in landscape mode, but the controls arent accessible as they're in the bottom left of the screen. When you select the playing song, it only displays in vertical mode.

So when just using the landscape mode, the controls can't be used. I.e. there's an edge on the machines that stops the controls being selected. 

Pretty frustrating as that's what spotify is great for, running music. Thanks

With the discontinue of the light app, there is no proper landscape mode that I can use in my car anymore. I will not be mounting my phone vertically because then it is sticking up into my windshield and blocking my view.

The original app used to have a functioning landscape player and it was removed for some unknown reason, forcing me to use the light app despite me paying for premium service and the light app not being able to access a good portion of that service.

If a proper landscape player is not added to the main app by the time the light app is discontinued, I'll be forced to leave the platform and move on to another one that does properly support landscape mode. A direct import of the landscape mode from the light app would actually work just fine, however it would be missing some buttons for the full fledged app. It used to look like the light app and have all the buttons, so I'm not sure why this hasn't happened yet.

I have been a paying customer of Spotify for about 10 years now, and the service has slowly been getting worse and worse. A perfect example would be the direct messaging feature that actually took sharing a song from being a couple clicks to now being almost ten because I have to work around your guys' built-in system to share it on platforms that I actually would like to talk to my friends and people on.

I hope that someone from Spotify reads this, though I doubt any of them will be doing it.
