[Android] Landscape mode on Now Playing view

When using my phone in the car I put it in a car holder. The holder is horizontal in order to have better view for navigation etc. I use spotify also a lot in the car but when using the playing music I'm not able to rotate the screen but the playlists dose rotate

C'mon, team Spotify. It's been a YEAR now. 

The absence of landscape mode is a safety issue while driving. ...and don't start up with anything about "use Car Mode." It SUCKS.

I just switched to Spotify from YouTube music and holy **bleep** how is this an issue?! For now I've installed the older version mentioned here and it works and looks great in landscape for Now Playing but I may be switching back if this isn't fixed.

Fix this already!!

Spotify, review how your latest Smart TV apps work (particularly the ''Now Playing' view on an Amazon Fire TV) and mimic the UI of those for landscape mode on a phone.   All TVs are widescreen these days - just like our phones so don't reinvent the wheel, use what you already have.

Yeah I noticed this also, they've updated the car mode view and it nolonger auto rotates. Stays in portrait!

It really is **bleep** poor and infuriating.

Car mode/Landscape mode is gone again. Why?  It's useful while driving. Please re-enable it again.

I remember playing a song in spotify in landscape mode and i didn't remember it til now. It was so long ago and i only rememberednit when i saw a screenshot i did 2 years ago and i didn't realise i needed it so much until now. Pleassseeee bring it baaaaackkk i need itttt :(((((

Im sure you can understand how much i really want and need it with the number of letters i added there. If you add this, i will definitely rate spotify 6/5. Thanks!
