@am8622: As I explained in my previous comment on pg. 20, the total vote count as of 12 days ago for all 5 duplicate Ideas was 4,175.  In addition to this are 55 pgs of negative feedback in Spotify's official announcement.  Considering all of this, it’s perhaps the fastest growing “Idea” of all time (which is clearly being ignored).

These other 4 Ideas also address the same issue, and should be merged into one.  I reported this to the Escalations Team (the highest level of tech support) a couple days after posting, but nothing has changed yet.

This topic is the first time I ever write to Spotify community. I find it important topic and have considered changing the platform after some 11 years or something. Already moved my playlists to other platform and it was quite easy. The other platform had some flaws with the UI also but had lot of other good features.

I´m also Spotify stock owner and just wonder do the developers or anyone from Spotify ever reply here anything ? I see that happen in one other community that I use but not here. Does it make any difference if you write here?

They don't seem to give a **bleep**. This topic has been here for four months, it's gathered 2000 likes within few months, more like anything else, daily more suggestions like this are created, on other platforms like Reddit people complain about this problem. They know. It's an easy fix. But they choose to ignore us.

I was just about to open Spotify and it gives me a sad feeling. I used to open Spotify looking forward to listening to good music, a positive emotion, now I open it and I'm sad cause I have to listen to mediocre songs because I can't identify the songs I really like anymore. They broke something I deeply loved: listening to music I love. Spotify is now a product now that creates negative emotions in me.

It's a shame.

And it's a shame how Spotify is treating us.

@shape5
4000 people hating this core UX change. Wow. I didn't know. This is ridiculous. A company that decides they know better than their customers is destined to fail - deservedly. The sheer arrogance that Spotify shows here.

Their product management doesn't seem to understand the hate they create towards their product and brand. 4,000 users taking the time to google it, make an account and vote and comment means 4,000,000+ users silently suffering and starting to hate Spotify. I talked to multiple people IRL and everybody hates it.

It's very very hard and expensive to gain customers, and it's so easy to lose them -- forever.

Its so frustrating when you see your dashboard constantly change for the worse because Spotify wants to push its own music agenda and make money from big labels by pushing high priority artists.

This is a paid service, so let us decide what we see first on OUR dashboard!!!

Finding my own playlists has become very difficult; the sorting order is a nightmare and decided by some non-transparent algorithm. The heart "Like" symbol is gone. Where are the tool tips? I still find it difficult to understand repeat symbols.

If I have songs downloaded for offline listening, why do I still need to connect online at the beginning?

And and and...

If this continues I am moving to another services, as recently I find myself getting upset just by opening the app.

Please Spotify, stop pushing your own music agenda down our throats. Think what client want, not what you want or your shareholders. This is exactly what we all hate about big tech. Please do not position yourself into this category, it would be a shame.

Thank you.

little bit out of context here but does someone have a hard time navigating through playlists?

I personally have tons of playlists and if I want to access songs on a specific playlist I made, I need to first hit "your library" --> Playlist button --> By you --> and flip through the playlists which is so annoying...I don't remember the playlist name so don't make use of the search bar either.  Makes me think that Spotify really doesn't want us to make our own playlist now that they even removed the heart button. 😞 They want us to discover songs made by them.:(

It affects operations and much more, Daniel. For example, to developers and product designers. It seems that the most clumsy ones have been left.
