Change/ Disable voice personality of AI DJ

As the title says, it would be a great feature if we could change or disable the voice or personality of the AI DJ.

Hi all,

I am long time Spotify subscriber who listens several times a day to the Spotify channel.  I tried the ai DJ.  I really like it.  I listen to jazz, classical, a small amount of pop, and podcasts.  I feel like that DJ voice is laughing at my dopey old lady choices.  Can we change the voice please?

For me, the only thing that "DJ X" ever really says is to announce the band names that it will be playing. I like this as it gives me an idea of what to expect, especially since the DJ feature has no visible queue in the UI.

My problem with it is that I don't like the ethnic voice, and the way it mispronounces so many band names that it has no excuse to mispronounce. I actually wonder if it's done intentionally.

So much has been said about changing the DJ voice I have little to add. I just wanted to chime in with those who hate the voice and want the ability to select another.

The choice of songs is exceptional, with new and old songs I’ve always listened to, even in childhood. But that Wolfman Jack Light voice is totally annoying. Like somebody who is trying to sound hip, but just isn’t. Anyway, I see this has been elevated to a good suggestion. Here’s hoping…

I would also love to mute/eliminate the voice. 

Would also be nice to be able to tell it to keep playing a similar setlist when its on a roll with good songs, instead of stopping at 4 or 5 and then "changing it up"

I'm surprised this change request doesn't have more votes.

I definitely want to use the DJ feature - but don't want to hear the DJ talking between songs... so I usually turn it all off, as it really irritates me.

The latest update mentions this change has been upgraded to 'Good Suggestion'... and you're waiting for it to receive the necessary votes to be considered for coding and a future release.  Are you able to indicate what number of votes would be required for this to be actioned?

Brad, I have been watching my suggestion grow, glad people agree with me! I am surprised its status hasn't been updated.

For the love of the AI-god please have an option to disable the voice. I'm here to listen to music not an AI talk.
