Change/ Disable voice personality of AI DJ

As the title says, it would be a great feature if we could change or disable the voice or personality of the AI DJ.

I listen to Spotify almost exclusively as background for work.  I do not want somebody talking and interrupting me!  And why does the DJ sound like a rapper?  I rarely listen to rap or hiphop.

I like the songs played by the DJ but the voice is too constant and I feel like I'm just listening to crappy radio, and it happens 3-4 songs. If I want to never actually listen to music then I'll just listen to the radio.

Yes, the DJ feature works pretty well but I pay for Spotify so I don't have to listen to people talking (that commercial using the girl with vocal fry was very effective at getting me to start paying — I'd rather have ten hours of fingernails on a blackboard than to listen to ten more seconds of her!).

I only found and started to try the DJ this morning and I'm already thinking of never trying it again after only about an hour. I don't like the DJ's voice, I don't like his accent, and I don't like his inane commentary. Improving the commentary won't fix the situation as I really just don't want to hear him at all.

stunning how such a feature would be introduced without a 'shut the f up' option. It's such an irritating and banal feature that I just can't imagine anyone wanting to use it???

This suggestion should also be implemented on the PC app. I really don't care to have a voice saying the same lines every few songs. Generally speaking, DJ does a good job of selecting songs, but I really don't need or want the AI voice.

Please add an option to disable the DJ voice. The paid version is meant to avoid hearing a voice between songs, not to replace it!

Firstly, the DJ feature is cool & fun - I like it a lot more than my Release Radar & Discover Weekly, as it blends the old with the new.  I'm that terrible "I have one playlist: my Liked Songs" person, so Spotify's mixes are a staple for me.
But.
I'm a Premium user already, but I'd pay extra for "Premium, but the DJ is in silent mode".
Or, as others have suggested - "Premium, but the DJ is [artist who's collaborated with Spotify]".
I absolutely love XxKILLABEATZxX's suggestion of a personalised AI voice, too - familiar / fun radio hosts could get on this too, with quips from their shows!

...ultimately though, can this current dude stop talking to me about my own music?  I know I love metal, no need to tell me 😛

The guy's voice is grating on me. At least pick a more neutral voice. The reason I'm on Spotify is to get away from annoying DJs with these stupid made up radio voices. Thanks.

There should also be an option to disable the fade in/ fade out, hearing 2 songs at once for a few seconds is not enjoyable

Love the playlist feature, but the DJ popping in every 3 songs is super annoying. Why can't there by an option to turn off the voice?
