I'm seriously considering cancelling my premium subscription for me and my whole family after having this feature removed for no reason.

The single redeeming quality of Spotify was and always has been its ability to find new music that I actually enjoy and make it immediately accessible to me.

What good does a catalog of 100M+ songs do anymore if I only ever get the same ~20 recommended to me while you willingfully remove every last bit of functionality that I could use to work around the mediocre and ever-repeating SmartShuffle and Autoplay suggestions? Those have been suggesting the same stuff to me for months now.

It's not like that single entry in the playlist context menu ever confused anybody. There has been no need to remove it just to add SmartShuffe. They can co-exist.

But "Create similar playlist" was the single most critial feature for finding new music fitting a specific niche or taste. With it gone, you might aswell unlist everything but Taylor Swift and whatever picks are currently in the Spotify-curated playlists.

I give it until June till Imma gone, and I‘ve been using Spotify since it was just through Facebook

i have a catalog of over 15k liked songs, and now I can’t find a single new one it seems

I have playlists from all the way back to 2013 so it‘ll be heartbreaking to lose, but I just CANNOT take their changes at this point

I can’t even see what is liked or not in a playlist I made which is fkfbffbfbfbfb

imma in the top 1% of listeners of listeners every year, but I have to leisten to the same music on repeat… reiterating how much this strips Spotify of what it had

You can certainly customize the login and it doesn't necessarily have to be via FB. I had this for a long time and have been able to change it since last year.

I can confirm the other thing. Searching for new music is not so easy, especially discovering great new young artists and not always the well-known artists and bands.

I'm also a fan of remixes, which aren't easy to find either, from new to old tracks.

I don't find it easy to use either. There is certainly a better solution.

What I have also noticed is that suddenly tracks disappear from my playlist and only fade out where they were previously available to listen to. I've had this happen several times now.

It does not have to be through Facebook, I don’t even have one anymore; simply stating how long I’ve had it. It has to be since something like 2012

Please bring this back! I’m a group fitness instructor and it made playlist creation so helpful! I’m so sad it’s gone!

Adding new methods to help people efficiently discover new music based on an underlying artist, playlist or genre would be really valuable.  Too many of the existing methods mix in the content you have already tagged which means you spend 70% of your time skipping tracks if you are hunting new material.

i just want this feature back so damn bad ughhhhh it should NOT feel like i'm doom scrolling through the app i use for music, but here we are; discovering ACTUAL new music should not be this difficult of a feat.
