Create Similar playlist gone

This feature was INTEGRAL to my usage of Spotify. I need to have it back in order to properly find new music I actually enjoy.

Please bring back this feature. Smart shuffle just plays songs you often already know, plus you have to skip through the playlist you currently have playing. The “create similar playlist” function allowed me to find much of my favourite music.

Using the radio function also just shows you a bunch of songs you already have saved/liked that are similar. Same with all the tailored playlists.

The only resource for finding new songs is Discover Weekly which can be hit or miss from week to week.

It was one of the best features in Spotify, i would 100x rather have this then smart shuffle or that crappy Spotify DJ

Please bring this function back, even if it costs more in some upgraded premium subscription. It is one of the few things that differentiate Spotify from it's competition.

I understand that this probably uses some sort of ML kNN clustering algorithms, which can be costly when scaled to Spotify user size, but again, if that's the problem create new subscription where I can pay for it!

Very late to the game but Skiley is another app that can be used on the computer/phone to create similar playlists/find similar songs. Within Spotify itself, there is the 'Recommended' songs function at the bottom but I understand that's often glitchy/often the songs are already in the playlist! Another option is the Daily Mixes and Release Radars, though again they not be so tailored

I need this feature too. It takes a long time to find new music with spotify's existing features which I find limited.

Does anyone know a better website than spotify for finding new music?

Please please please return this! Creating a similar playlist is such a great feature and its removal has seriously detracted from my experience of using Spotify. The Smart Shuffle and DJ functions don't compare. I have hope you're listening to us since the status of this request was recently updated to a live idea. Thank you ❤️

I want to create a playlist based on my previous top songs but I want it to only include new music of a similar vibe.

I get to 'create a new playlist' but then do not know how to let spotify suggest new songs.

If you spend heaps of time digging for new music, nothing comes close to create similar playlist. Release Radar and Discover Weekly only do lists based on your general tastes. If you want to get niche, create similar playlist is gold.
