[Desktop] Keyboard Hotkey to queue Track(s)

I often browse my playlist and would love to be able to just quickly press something like the Q key to add the selected song(s) to the queue. Now I have to use my mouse again and it gets pretty annoying to quickly add songs to the playqueue.

Would love to have it more work like it did in programs like WinAmp. There you could just press Q to add the song to the queue, select multiple songs and in the playlist queue you could easily rearrange the songs. Now in Spotify it's a little harder to perform these things.

Works fine for me. But a single key for adding the song to the queue list would indeed help alot.

Can't beleive its 2013 and we still dont have this feature.... I am sure we'll find folks in community to code it for you spotify...

Totally agree a (preferably 1 click) shortcut should be implemented for queueing. A little usability suggestion: Q should be avoided since it would be a mess confusing it with Ctrl/Cmd+Q, which would close the application. Not ideal.

How about + ? That was my initial try, and I think it's quite common as a shortcut for 'Add' functions, at lease on Mac.

UPDATE: Just after posting the above I noticed there IS a shortcut for queueing: cmd+shift+enter works on my Mac keyboard. Way too complicated though for such a common task, so I still consider '+' to be the best option.

This is something I wanted as well, so I made it possible using BetterTouchTool (OSX only). I've mapped three-finger tap to queue a track, but you can change it to whatever you like. You'll also get two-finger swipe to go back/forward for free 😉

This was my favorite feature of the soon to be retired Winamp.  I like the idea of being able to quickly queue up a few songs in a row from a shuffle at work.

CTRL+Enter is ok, but need a mouse function for this aswell.

There are now even LESS Shortcuts in the new black versoin of Spotify, please give us flexibility. The UI buttons are too small to constantly be hitting.

It's ridiculous that you cannot just press Q to queue a song. I suggest you buy a case of beer to the programmer who implements this during their spare time.

Or at least add a menu item for "Add to Queue" so we mac users can add a system keyboard shortcut to Spotify.
