[Desktop][Other] Option to maximize album cover in fullscreen

I suspect this was an oversight in the latest update, but the album cover is now tiny in full-screen mode, making room for the background on the artist's profile instead. There seems to be no way to maximize the album cover, which I'd rather be looking at. I'd like that option back!

I also just mostly got this feature on Windows 10. Fullscreen mode now includes 3 options: album artwork, canvas & artist image. This is an amazing update with some much needed customizability, big thanks to the Spotify team!

But still, as many have mentioned, when viewing the album art by clicking it in the normal view, the image doesn't fill the screen from edge to edge, and in some cases remains very small. The new fullscreen player's album art follows that exact same size, which depends on your screen scaling. It still is sometimes small, and in extreme cases, tiny (check third image).

I think that there could still be one more setting added to change just the sizing of the artwork, or just a simple checkbox to make it fill the screen from edge to edge, as large as it can be considering that the images are square. Or for those who reeeally like customizability (as computer users often do), the option to manually zoom into the artwork and move it into your preffered position could also be cool.

Here are some screenshots of the album view on Windows 10 with a 1440p display:

This is how it looks if you turn your display scaling waaaay down, but luckily you'd never need to use it this extremely. Love your service, but am disappointed that one cannot expand the cover art. There is so much value to how some album art offers and details are frustratingly small. This would be a great improvement. What is the probability that you can offer this or even a download option? Thank you. Jan

I've had it with Spotify after nearly a decade and a half of endless hoping and paying, only to be slapped in the face with the most basic features that any decent music app should have! Apple Music nails it with a full-screen mode for Mac/PC playback—showing stunning album art, a sleek CD case or album-sized image, and lyrics that update live, all with smooth animations and intuitive controls. And what does Spotify do? Nothing! It’s downright mind-boggling how they can’t even come close to matching this. It’s pathetic that after all these years, they still can’t deliver a simple, polished experience!

REJOICE! After all these years they FINALLY fixed it! I just got fed up with Tidal this week and finished transferring over my playlist, just before that I noticed the full-screen was still the same ugh, but upon finishing my playlist, I saw an update and out of nowhere.... they finally added a album art option! You now have the choice of album art, canvas, or what it was previously with the artists banner.

@Frogzarecool share a screenshot please, i don't believe any word.

Here is my current version of Spotify on Desktop. It is RIDICULOUS that the art work is still so small. WHY?

It could be a little bigger, I see some people had access to this earlier lol. I just got so excited that they did SOMETHING. much better than being stared at by banner art people.

It should be just FULLSCREEN in best resolution, so art work should be available by 2500x2500 pixels at least! For Retina Desktop Screens maybe even 5000x5000 px, it's not huge compared to what iPhones Pics have these days...
