Since 2021 I have been highlighting via my social media accounts that there is no 'Disability' podcast category on Spotify (and other podcast platforms) and I think this needs to change. There are categories for mental health, sexuality, alt health + medicine which is great…but why not disability?
This is not an idea 'request' it's a need (and actually should be a requirement). If #InfluencerLife and niche sports can be categories then I think there's absolutely no reason why Disability shouldn't be.

It's 2026. Disability representation matters and Spotify could be the first platform to take this step.
