I’d love an option where Spotify’s Mix feature works without needing a playlist, using a dynamic queue instead.
Spotify could introduce an AI-powered Mix Queue that:
Continuously adds random songs to the queue
Optionally (toggle ON/OFF) uses AI to add songs that match the current genre, vibe, or style
Automatically mixes and re-orders upcoming songs in real time
Uses AI to discover and add new, relevant songs that fit the current Mix
Continuously adapts the Mix based on listening behavior (skips, likes, repeats)
Allows users to refresh or slightly reshuffle the queue without stopping playback
The AI features should be fully optional, so users can decide whether they want:
Pure random mixing
Or intelligent, genre- and style-based recommendations
This would create an infinite, evolving Mix experience, perfect for discovery, background listening, or long sessions without managing playlists.
