Exclude genres from discover weekly and allow forced algorithm reset

Multiple people have the same issue: Spotify Weekly is going completely haywire, forcing genres over and over even if you dislike the whole list and exclude everything.
Spotify keeps responding with "Oh, just add more music you like, and it will fix itself!" No, it doesn't. 
Please add a feature to exclude a genre from discovery weekly (for a month, for example, or for a chosen period). We already have the filters for genres, so it must be possible to also exclude a genre.

I suspect that listening to podcasts that aren't specifically marked as "a podcast" negatively impacts the algorithm, as it recognizes these podcasts as "music". Therefore, excluding the whole artist from the taste profile would be a huge improvement to the algorithm.

Additionally, being able to do a fresh start for the algorithm would also be nice. Obviously, the algorithm gets stuck on specific genres and isn't working properly all the time. Just give us more freedom to impact our own algorithm.

I cannot stand Country music. I stopped using the AI dj a year ago because it kept giving trash country songs... Well, I gave it chance today & now I'm **bleep** again because it gave a "popular" country song... WHY? Why, why, why? If AI is supposed to be intelligent, that make it so!

I will not be trying the AI dj again until I see this handled.

I use Spotify to listen to sleeping music if I'm having difficulties falling asleep. These sleeping songs get included in my Discover weekly or DJ recommendations, which I obviously don't need when I am awake and wanted to listen to music I actually like.

Yes, this. Just today an AD showed up for me promoting Olivia Rodrigo or Serena Gomez or something... I pay for premium and don't want to see ads.

The same goes for New Releases for You. Some random artists show up from genres I never listen to and never will. There should be scales of thumbs down buttons so that we can cast a blocking bomb with a wide radius on genres we don't like.

For example, if I like Rock and dislike Rap I should be able to block Rap from showing up. A small thumbs down would mean anything that is just Rap would stop showing. A big thumbs down would mean everything that has Rap as a tag would stop showing (i.e. even if it also had a Rock tag on that band, for example Rage Against the Machine wouldn't show up)

This type of preference configuration control is needed yesterday!
