Feature Request: Expanded Sleep Timer Options for Podcasts & Audiobooks (Like Audible)

I am writing to share feedback and a feature request regarding the Sleep Timer feature on Spotify, especially when listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and bedtime stories.

Currently, the sleep timer tops out at 1 hour or "End of episode." For those of us who regularly fall asleep to longer spoken-word content or serial stories, these options are quite limited.

Other audio platforms, like Audible, offer much more flexible sleep timer controls, and I would love to see Spotify adopt a similar experience:

  • Longer Preset Durations: Add options for 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours (rather than capping presets at 60 minutes).

  • Custom Time Entry: Allow users to type in a specific number of minutes/hours.

  • Multi-Episode Timers: An option to stop playback after a set number of episodes (e.g., "Stop after 2 episodes" or "Stop after 3 episodes"), which is especially helpful for shorter 15–20 minute shows.

Having these controls would make Spotify a far better companion for bedtime routines without the hassle of waking up mid-night to reset a timer or having audio play through the entire night.
