LIKE BUTTON

Spotify should add the like button and the + symbol separately. How many times I want to ONLY add a song to a playlist but NOT like it and since I have no choice but press + button the songs just get liked automatically and have to undo it. It is so annoying have to go through it every single time. Why not keep the like button and have a + next to it at the same time? The heart feels so nice and just makes it so much less complicated.

The change is completely pointless. It's basically just a "add to playlist" button now. No point even have a "Liked Songs" feature anymore. Ridiculous. Bring back the 'heart' and the whole reason why we used it.

When I’m driving I don’t want to go through all that each time. There used to be a like button. Bring it back

Don't call it "Liked Songs" and don't use a heart symbol.

Instead, call it "Starred Songs" and use a star symbol.

VOTE for "Starred Songs"

VOTE for "Additional Green Checkmark for Same Song on OTHER Albums"

Being able to TAG tracks for whatever reason(s) is INSANELY useful, and now it is gone. I've fallen back to using the download symbol, which means I'm now POINTLESSLY downloading (and later un-downloading) dozens (sometimes hundreds) of tracks at a time. This really sucks.

Man, this change really does mess up my whole interaction w/ my "library" of liked songs 😕

How many more "Bring back the like/heart icon" and "Bring back the like button" threads votes do you guys need before you listen to your paying customers?

It's simply unbelievable how much disdain Spotify has for its users....

I really miss the old heart button. The current “+” button is useful for saving songs to the Liked Songs playlist, but it no longer provides a simple way to distinguish between songs that I like and songs that I truly love.

My suggestion would be to reintroduce the heart icon alongside the existing “+” function:

  • “+” = Add a song to Liked Songs.
  • ❤️” = Mark a song as an all-time favorite or “favorite among favorites.”

This would create an additional level of personalization and help users quickly identify the songs that are especially meaningful to them. Many long-time Spotify users have an emotional connection to the heart icon, and bringing it back could improve the user experience while preserving the functionality of the current system.
