The platform is increasingly flooded with AI-generated songs (especially the Release Radar), making it harder for users to discover authentic, human-created music. To improve the listening experience, Spotify should introduce a clear label for AI-generated songs and provide an option to filter them out entirely.

Head over to guthub and search "spotify-ai-blocker". Blocks around 1500 known slop "artists", and the list is updated frequently.

Slopify should be taking notes.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is a solution to our music discomfort that Spotify has not been willing to address after all this time.

I do not want AI music in my feeds.  Ever.  From any source.  At this time there is no way for AI music or art to exist that is not based entirely in stealing content from other artists.  Tags are nice and welcome but I want an option to never, ever, even have it offered or recommended.

I want setting that would hide and prevent from playing all AI music.

- If playlist has the song it must skip it or even better hide it from the playlist

- Daily or Weekly Discover must not recommend it

Usually appreciated my Discover weekly but stopped listening to it cause its flooded with AI content.

Oh but it is possible, just not through Spotify directly as they appear to be only concerned with their share prices, firstly you could just move your playlists to a provider that cares, like Deezer, or if you're unwilling/unable to move, you could setup the following filter script from Github.

This is probably the only current viable method to filter out AI artists on Spotify. As for myself, I moved over to Deezer months ago, but when I found this script decided to give it a shot, worked wonders for my playlists, but for now I'll stick with Deezer for moral issues at least until Spotify chooses a side in the war against enshitification.

Agree with labelling not being enough. needs to be opt-out (at a minimum), or opt-in at best. If you have already identified AI content, it should be easy to do. If there's no change, I have to switch, as I feel insulted and disrespected.

Changed to Deezer ages ago and I miss nothing.

Just move and leave Slopify, they are done already. As this so called AI is...

Allow us to blacklist ALL AI-generated music/artists, not just exclude them individually. There should be a toggle setting to allow AI content or not.
