I was listening to my music, and suddenly I thought that maybe Spotify could have a way to create a tool inside Spotify to identify songs playing around us (like Shazam, maybe).

It would be awesome if we could use Spotify to search for the track that is playing in the room with a mic, just like Shazam just an alternative of it!

It would be very easy to save cool songs to your favorites if Spotify had this built in.

It could go in the search screen, and make a mic button just like the camera button you have in the search screen!

That would be a super awesome feature!!!

Such an amazing idea, thank you so much!!! In the meantime, I would recommend, if you haven't already, to connect your Spotify account with Shazam. This can be done through the Shazam app in the settings section. That way you can synchronize both accounts and listen to your newly discovered jams through your favorite digital music streaming service!

I have a Google Pixel phone, the assistent recognizes songs and gives links to different platforms! But yeah to those who don't have an easy way for this!

I don't get why this is not available in Spotify. All other music apps I've used (Google play music, Deezer) have had this feature for years. It's very convenient when you hear a song you don't know to just push a button and have it saved for later in a playlist or something. Using Shazam for this is just not convenient, or possible at all.

Maybeeeee, it's a good idea to ask someone at SHAZAM for SHAZAM integration within SPOTIFY!!! Would save someone A LOT OF work!!! Everything has a price though, hopefully it'll be fair!!!

As a frequent user, I often come across situations where I hear a song that I enjoy but don't know the name or artist. Currently, I rely on third-party apps like Shazam to identify these songs. However, it would be incredibly convenient if Spotify had its own built-in song identification tool.

Imagine having a button within the Spotify app that allows users to identify a song playing around them and then directly add it to their playlists. This feature would not only streamline the process but also keep users within the Spotify ecosystem, enhancing their overall experience.

I believe this addition would be widely appreciated by many users and could set Spotify apart even further as the leading music streaming service.

Set up a feature where the app can listen to whatever song is playing in the background and then find the track on Spotify. Just like Shazam but directly from Spotify app.
