[Mobile] View & Shuffle all Tracks in Playlist Folders

The latest spotify for android update, as well as the newest iOS update, removed the "shuffle all" option for multiple playlists within a folder. I used this feature every day and it's my favorite spotify feature. Please bring it back!

It seems that every time they bring out an "update", they don't actually tell us what is in it and whether it useful or not. Pretty much every time, not. It breaks what was already working without fixing anything.

Every time it installs an update on my android device, it seems to move the storage from SD to device where I don't want it because I have 512 GB of SD storage and 128 GB of device storage and I don't want Spotify eating all of that up with downloaded files.

And then once I have again moved their location (which isn't easy), even though the files are on the SD in the location, Spotiy fails to recognise it and wants to redownload them all, except this time, it claims it is going to download them but makes no progress whatsoever.

I have written to them with a simple workaround fix and they ignore it and come back with standard responses.

+1 Please bring this to mobile.

There used to be a backdoor way on Android to do this that is no longer functional. 1) play the folder on desktop, 2) create a widget on mobile by hard pressing icon. Maybe they can at least bring back the backdoor?

I really don't understand why spotify does not bring this option to mobile devices. Now i'm using 3rd party app playmixify to add autosync multiple playlists to 1 new one . But shuffle in folders would more easier . And i discovered that the feature is still active on pc : right click on the folder and choose play .

So true! Why is this feature only available on desktop? I have a particular folder with dozens of ordered playlists and songs, and I can't play&shuffle them.

Hello there,

Basically, on the desktop app i'm able to create a folder, add multiple playlists inside, right-click the folder and hit "Play" to shuffle through every playlist's songs It has inside.

I would really love to also have this "button" on my mobile application, and i would like to suggest the implementation for the next versione of the app.

Thank you very much!

Give the possibility of playing a folder, for example: I have a folder that I made with the name Rock, and in it I placed several playlists with different aspects of the rock style. Sometimes I listen separately to the playlists that are inside the folder, but I would love for the function to play the entire folder to be available, so that I can listen to all the playlists that are inside that folder in random mode.
Provide the possibility for this to be done, whether on a cell phone, computer, television or in the car

Yes, please.  We have this function on the PC program but not on mobile.  Need the ability to play a folder which has subfolders within it so that I can, for example, shuffle the "Rock" folder which has sub folders "Classic Rock," "Alternative Rock," "Metal," etc.

Desperate for this feature to return! I've noticed recently it wasn't available on desktop either. Maybe that was just me, but either way, I rely on that feature on desktop. Having it back for both desktop and mobilewould be SO important to me
