[Music] Warning when a Track is removed from Spotify

I use Spotify to store the music i like - saving them on Playlists. Spotify adds music continuosly but also deletes other, by licence problems or whatever. But you Spotify must warn me in that circumstances, so I can get that music from another source. It s not acceptable that you quit music from your servers and from my playlist without any kind of warning. It s a disrepect to the user of your service. Please solve this problem as soon as it s possible.

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Community, and adding your vote to this idea!

We're keeping this idea to 'Not Right Now', as this isn't something we have any immediate plans to implement. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

As before, you can show unavailable track by going to Settings -> Display Options -> Show unavailable tracks in playlists. This setting also works for saved songs.

If we do have any new info to share, rest assured we'll check back in here with a new status.

Thanks.

Question, if an album gets pulled and it was in my library but not in a playlist will I still see the grayed out album art or will I just have no idea it’s gone?

It'd be nice if you COULD make some 'immediate plans to implement' as we are your f****** user base and we demand this.

But no, instead we'll probably get a new UI nobody asked for next month that takes 3 hours to figure out where my **** is... instead of the features and capabilities we beg you for.

Thanks a lot. It's a shame that I pay for premium and have essentially zero control over my library.

What's the point of suggesting things if Spotify never "has plans to implement them..." these suggestions are so much more valuable than UI updates...

Hiding unavailable tracks from playlists is not the same this request - I want to be notified when tracks become unavailable so I can replace them. I don't want to pretend they don't exist.

They would never advertise their lack of content, just like they wouldn't advertise all the bugs or bad ui. It's not something businesses often do to admit to anything negative at all.

notification, when one of songs in my library (for example favorites), gets delisted/deleted from your offer
