No ads in podcasts for Premium members

I pay for Spotify Premium so I’m not exposed to ads. Why are their ads in podcasts but not music? I know you have the technology and profits to skip the ads.

And now they are adding 20 second ads at the start of podcasts!

This is content they don’t even have to pay for and yet they are milking ad revenue from

paying subscribers.

The rest is history embeds adverts in the podcasts.  I listen on Spotify to avoid this  so I would make goalhanger productions stop this practice as it is against the Spotify vibe

I can’t upvote this enough.  I agree - I pay for premium to AVOID having to listen to Spotify ads. They break into podcasts at odd times and are super loud, which wakes me up when I use these podcasts to get to sleep.
