[Profile] Reset Taste Profile / History

Please allow for a reset option, so you can start all over again with a clean sheet.

 

For now, you have to start over with an entirely new account to do just that. And for that you need to contact Customer Support. Not very convenient.

Please allow this to happen. I've been having many troubles with my Discover Weekly.

What do I do when I cant adjust my profile? I DONT whant to change my e-mail. E-mail is correct byt it says its occupied even do I just tries to adjust country and postcode. I have only one e-mail that I use and thats were I want my spotify.

A workaround may be to open a new last.fm account and scrobble to that and then see what recommndations come up.

I am a Starbucks partner and for some reason it isn’t allowing me to sign into my account and I have changed my password and everything there should really be a reset button to fix this problem

So this is the very best you can propose? To create a new account because you do not want to offer us the possibility to reset our usage data?

 It would be nice if we could remove tags from the metadata it's collected. I'm happy with how most of it is going but there's many genres in there that are overtaking the ones I'm genuinely keen on.

So we've now reached over 800 votes. What is keeping you from implementing this? Surely you can keep an extra copy of our data for your data mining needs?

Yeah, as previous posters i agree. There needs to be a way to reset the history somehow. 

 

Thru Spotify connect somebody added a bunch of playlists and artists with the most ridiculus campy spanish 90`s tecno/trance. I removed all signs of this **bleep**, logged out every device, changed passwords and thought i was in the clear?

 

Guess what my Discover Weekly consists of?

 

Yeah the same spanish bull**bleep** and it wont go away? And this has been going on for months...

 

Spotify Team, I love this service, have been using it forever and i discovered so much music thru DW, please fix this so we all can move on and enjoy our music ok?

Why do I need to create a new account? surely if I have generated my music preference I should be able to reset them when I want not when you decide it is a function you permit me to use
