Ever stumble across an absolute banger only to have to choose between letting it go or dropping everything to save it through the app? The music player on the lock screen allows you to easily flow through your music but there is one missing feature that completely buries an explorers natural flow. The feature that I'm talking about is the lack of a save/like button.
There isn't a button to save any songs you may come across when exploring new music which can completely ruin your flow/state, especially if you're doing something: driving, washing dishes, or even enjoying a family dinner. The lack of a save/like button can ruin your state because when you want to save a song for later, you have to unlock your device and save it through the app, which pulls all your attention to the device instead of what you want/need to do.
The save/like button feature can save tons of time. If you take mental note of the song[s] you like, eventually you'll build up a library that can be easily forgotten when under stress or while distracted which then forces you to have to write those songs down which leads to inconvenience that could be fixed with the save/like button.
With the save/like button, your new songs are safe and guaranteed to be available for later, allowing for a more smooth and focused listening session.
