Songs should show the type of genre it is

Sometimes you discover a certain song that becomes your top 1 favorite and you want more of that specific style, but you don't even have any idea of what genre could it be. It happens me a lot with EDM music, and Rock music, I love so much certain songs but its hard to find a similar one when I don't know what type of genre it is. For example I found "Don't say goodbye" by Alok and the rhythm is the exact style I love to hear in Electronic music but I have not a single clue of what type o genre could it belong to.

Hi Spotify team,

sometimes you happend to listen to something new and you would like to find more of the same genre of music. It would make it easier to filter by genre tags, if added to each music. I couldn't find this option yet.

I think you should be able to see a songs genre and other tags (like those used in the search) and you could also combine that with a button that pulls songs with that same genre to expand a listeners music

yes!! we all know they have extremely specific data on genres and related music, since they use it for recommendations - let us see it too!

Why on the select button there is no type of music ? Please kindly put the type of music of stars and musicians so we can be sure about the type of music (like Apple music has) whether it is Pop,Rock,Jazz or any other type.We would be appreciated if you do so please.Thanks in advance to hope to see this spec on spotify.

With "wrapped" you get a summary which is focused on genres, so the information has to be available already. I can't understand why this is refused, which it is as it was not implemented in 3 years.

Why would my 2025 Spotify Wrapped even mention my top listened-too genres if I can't even see what genre each individual song is classified as in their details??

Why even give users that information if it's not available anywhere else for the user to see.  We're talking about the hyper specific "genre seeds" here. 

You could just load the Genre data for the song from the API and list them in the songs "credits" section. Maybe rename credits too "about this song" of something so it has more details than just song credits alone.
