Stop forcing features

I loved Spotify, but the continuous mandatory changes are making me consider changing to another service. (1) The NowPlaying window pops up randomly on my desktop when I listen to a podcast on my phone, making me minimize it literally every time I use my computer. (2) The home page attempts to stay relevant but auto-updates at the precise moment I select something, making me select the wrong thing frequently (3) Playlists that I’ve listened to for years now have AI-crossfade-like transitions, even though I have Crossfade off (4) 5 second looped videos now appear and it took me ten minutes to figure out how to turn it off in settings.

Basically, new features are great! Just don’t shove them down our throats. I want the old Spotify. I’d be yours for life if there was a “Legacy Version”, where I didn’t have to constantly tweak settings to get back to what I preferred.
